About i-KITES
i-KITES is a flagship summer immersion program for exceptional school students who have completed Class X or XI. Over 6 intensive weeks at IIT Kharagpur, participants engage in rigorous coursework spanning Mathematics, Physics, Life Sciences, and Engineering Design.

Yes, i-KITES is a fully residential program. Accommodation on the IIT Kharagpur campus is provided for all selected participants.

KRITI currently offers 9 programs: i-KITES, RISE, GRISHMA, THESES, CRAFT, KERNEL, CREATE, PRAVAH, and the IIT KGP Science & Innovation Summit. Together these serve approximately 3,800+ participants annually.
Application to all KRITI programs is free of charge. Some programs offer fully funded participation. Please check individual program pages for details.
